Volunteering with us
Within our foundation, volunteering means anyone who freely commits themselves to us, giving up their time to carry out unpaid work alongside children who are going through difficult times.
Volunteering with our foundation aims to become the brother or sister of children in Goma and Bukavu who no longer have anyone.
A brief overview of our volunteers’ tasks:
twice a week to the Bulengo and Mugunga refugee camps, home to more than 100,000 displaced people. These people have left their homes because of the war. They are with children under the age of 5. And they come in difficult conditions.
The children fall ill every day, lack food and some die.
You can prepare a meal with other young people. Feed the children with love and affection.
Going to the children’s side every week is not just about giving them food, clothes, or water to drink; it’s about being close to them. This closeness helps to support the children psychologically.
You can also volunteer at our orphanage, providing daily care for the children.
